Exporting to an Excel using Teradata

Hi all,

In my project,there is a requirement to exporting to an Excel using BTEQ.
I used DIF mode to export data.
The data looks fine,but i need the field names of the query also to be populated in the excel,which is not happening.

Re: Exporting to an Excel using Teradata

When i googled,it says there ia an option called DATALABELS while exporting in DIF mode,but it will not work for Network Attached Systems. Is there any alternate way to achieve this??

Btwn, I tried exporting using DATA mode and writing it to a .csv file. The data and the headers are fine afte transforming the Text to columns,but the title dashes appear even after using the command
.SET TITLE DASHES OFF;

Please help me out in this regard,as a resolution for this needed ASAP.
TIA..

Cheers,
Janaki
