Arcmain : Issue with database name in copy of dictionary table

Hi

I am using arcmain first time and have faced issue with copy of dictionary table.

I tried to restore view from archive in different database.

View got created successfully however, defination still point to old databasename

for example:

new db : pdft_views

old db pdf_views

after creation when i did show view pdft_views.xyz

output is

Replace view pdf_views.xyz.

Now I am unable to replace, drop this view

PLease help!

Re: Arcmain : Issue with database name in copy of dictionary table

When you use ARC to COPY an object, any references within the object are not changed. And in the case of a view or macro, SHOW will return the original CREATE/REPLACE statement text.

You can DROP or REPLACE the copy, using its new name (pdft_views.xyz).
