CIM 10.2 Installation Error

After installation XS_* tables are missing in Meta database as a result on login getting error

ENV_CIM_META.XS_INTERACTION' does not exist. 

Any idea how to fix this issue and which step caused this. Cant see in logs any XS tables being created.

Hi,

 

We have seen this error before.  The table noted is related to TCIS.  It seems like the installation of TCIS did not complete.  For the other time this happened, the customer was able to run the TCIS setup.exe to generate to TCIS war file.

 

If other metadata tables, like IOS_DOMAIN, have been created, then the above may help.  If IOS_DOMAIN does not exist in your metadata database, then the full  CIM installation will be needed.

While doing a setup locally we faced the same issue and we did a re-install and it started working. While on client side this issue also came however we couldnt ask them directly to re-install without any solid reason as from logs or the installer screen shots shared everything was successfull.

 

Is there any issue in installer or some option that if missed might cause this.

 

CIM Core Product team can give some hints :)

Hi Ali,

 

There is no known issue.  The other instance just noted that TCIS was not properly installed (setup.exe not run for TCIS).  If you believe that the installation was fully run by the user, then you may want to create an incident.  We can check the installation logs for errors causing the incomplete installation.
