Access passthrough query connecting to different data than linked table

Hello.

I have a linked table in my Access database to a table on our Teradata server that works fine, but I want to limit the rows coming across the wire so I created a pass-through query using the same ODBC connection.

For some reason, it returns different results without the most recent data.  The row count of the table is lower.

I tried select * from dbc.dbcinfo but it returned the same results in both environments.

Any idea what I can change to get the ODBC connection in a pass-through query to behave the same way as the ODBC connection to a linked table?

If I create another linked table it connects to the correct data source.  If I create a new pass-through query with the same Teradata ODBC connection, it connects to the other data source.

All help appreciated.
