Importing data

I am brand new to Teradata and SQL and have a rather basic question. I am reading the book "Teach yourself SQL in 10 minutes" and am trying to import some sample data into Teradata so I can follow along with the examples in the book. The book has a number of different downloads available, but none of them specifically say Teradata. Can someone please let me know how to get these databases into Teradata?

The link to the downloads is: http://www.forta.com/books/0672325675/

Thank you,

Eric

Re: Importing data

I should mention I am using the Teradata SQL Assistant software.

Re: Importing data

Hi Eric,
just looked at the DB2 version, this should load without any modification.
You probably want to create a new database for it:

create database sams as perm = 10e+06;
database sams;

And then simply cut&paste both scripts and run them.
