ODBC Client in UBUNTU

ODBC Client in UBUNTU

Has anyone installed ODBC client (GSS, ICU, ODBC) in UBUNTU ? Is there any documentation available ?

I tried using the RPM packages, the Linux Independent installer "tdodbc__LINUX_INDEP.13.10.00.01-1" comes with, but no success.

Thanks

I'm having similar issues, I can't seem to connect to our teradata at all from ubuntu. I've tried the RPM, also tried with QueryExecute using the JDBC drivers...nothing seems to work.

Re: ODBC Client in UBUNTU

I was able to get the TD tools running on Ubuntu but haven't had time to work on ODBC.  I used alien to convert the i386 and noarch rpms to deb files and installed, then used strace to view errors.  All it took was moving files around to directories where the tools were looking...
