Re: Problem with server name

Hi,

the main info from the java exception(s) is this:  Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: testServer

Which actually means, you are trying to reach server 'testServer' which is not reachable or/and the name cannot be resolved.

So to fix this, you just need to add one entry to your 'hosts' file with correspond alias and ip. Then try re-connect (before trying jdbc ensure, you can ping, tracert and telnet your testServer on correspond ip/port).

This will work with direct network connection to you 'testServer'. If there is proxy/firewall between you and server, you possibly need to ask your network admin for some help.

Cheers
