Windows 7 64-bit, SQL 2008R, needs to connect to Teradata using linked server

I need help on how to connect from SQL Server 2008R2 which is on my Windows 7 64-bit PC.
I tried linked server but not sure which provider to pick. Nothing on the provider dropdown has references to Teradata.
From looking at Control Panel, I think I have all the drivers needed.
I can create a connection mgr in SSIS and was able to connect to the Teradata server because it has “OLE DB Provider for Teradata”.

Would you please provide step-by-step on how to setup a linked server to Teradata?

You can use 64-bit "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC" + 64-bit "ODBC Driver for Teradata".
"OLE DB Provider for Teradata" is a 32-bit driver.

I haven't been able to get it connected either.

I kinda with there were some clear directions to getting the linked server to work.
