ARCMAIN Database Arc/Copy

Could some one please share script to do Arc/Restore for Database. I got below script in "https://community.teradata.com/t5/Tools/How-to-make-use-of-ARCMAIN-utility-to-take-DB-backup/m-p/946..."

If this is good and correct , my question is do we need to give all tables one by one like below with each table separated by comma. If yes, then how to copy all tables with in a database without specifying tablename. I am novice for ARCMAIN, please help.

Example for a Backup of tables:
-------------------------------
logon ZZZZ/YYYY,XXXX;

ARCHIVE DATA TABLE

(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME1),
(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME2),
(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME3),

RELEASE LOCK,

FILE=NVDSID1;

Example for a Restore of tables:
--------------------------------
logon ZZZZ/YYYY,XXXX;

COPY DATA TABLES

(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME11) (FROM(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME1)),
(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME12) (FROM(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME2)),
(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME13) (FROM(DATABASENAME.TABLENAME3)),

RELEASE LOCK,

FILE=NVDSID1;

Re: ARCMAIN Database Arc/Copy

Thank You. Sure. I will start read the docs. since its kind of urgent  One more clarification ,

Script 1:

ARCHIVE DATA TABLES (DATABASENAME) -- DATABASENAME had 2 tables namely TABLENAME1 and TABLENAME2

Script 2 :

ARCHIVE DATA TABLES (DATABASENAME.TABLENAME1 ,DATABASENAME.TABLENAME2)

Which will give more performance and better to do a daily data movement between 2 teradata systems. Is there any difference here. I understand Script2 will process the tables in sequential manner. how the ARCHIVE COPY of DATABASE will happen. will that also be in sequential manner.

Re: ARCMAIN Database Arc/Copy

When you only got two tables both will be exactly the same.
