Changing passwords always failing with 3685

Hi

Whenever I am trying to modify a user's password its failing with 3685 error. I have tried from 4 to 10 character passwords and still I get the same result.

I checked logonrules table for that user and I see NullPassword field as T. I tried to login via the user using LDAP mechanism and no password and it still doesnt log in.

Any pointers how can I modify this user's password?

NullPassword means the Teradata database does no password validation itself. The external authentication mechanism (e.g. LDAP) may still require a password.

When authentication is supposed to be handled externally, we may sometimes set the password rules for Profiles to impossible combinations to prevent setting native (TD2) passwords.

Thanks for the reply but in this scenario, what can I do to change this password?
