Clearing TJournals

at my installation , Transientjournals are growing and are not getting deleted

is there any way to purge it forcibly

The only safe way to forcibly purge the transient journal is to restart the database. Ordinarily, that should never be necessary, as the system continually removes TJ records for completed transactions. However, there is a recently discovered bug that interferes with this process. The problem may affect V2R6.0 and later releases, but the effects are more severe in V2R6.2 and later. Fixes will be released shortly. For fix availability status contact the Teradata support center, referencing DR 118076.

I mean this TJ will grow after restarting the server

I think the problem is likely to recur from time to time until you apply the fix.

you are right , it has started to grow again after restart
Teradata yet to provide any patch / fix
