Combining Results from multiple recursive queries

Hi all,

I need to create a bteq report that displays 2 tables.

1. Master table with all the departments and their total sale amounts.

2. Child table with details (multiple rows) from each department.

Is there a way I can combine (text output one column each) the result of 2 seperate ecursive queries ?

Can we do something like followind ?

WITH RECURSIVE

union

WITH RECURSIVE;

update volatile table (columx)

with recursive;

Re: Combining Results from multiple recursive queries

I'm not sure I understand you but I think what your really need is a macro which the "Store Id" as the only one parameter. Then in the macro code you need 2 querys: the first one showing the result of the master and the second one showing the result of the details, both of then for the parameter "Store Id"
