It doesn't look like that Teradata supports Deferred Name Resolution in stored procedure. I really hope that I am wrong. Can anyone give me a clue in terms of how may I replicate this feature?
Here is the code example:
CREATE PROCEDURE test()BEGIN DECLARE V1 INTEGER; SET V1 = 100; CREATE VOLATILE TABLE try ( test INTEGER ) ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWS; INSERT INTO try Values ( V1); END;
During compilation of the procedure, it will give error 'try doesn't exists'.
If you check the message it should be a Warning instead of an error and the SP should be created.
