Fallback for Secondary Index sub-tables

If Base table is Fallback, will the Secondary Index sub-table will also be Fallback?

Or do we have to explicitly make them Fallback if we want?

What about Join and Hash Indexes sub tables?

  • Fallback
  • SI

Re: Fallback for Secondary Index sub-tables

Hi,

If the table is defined with 'Fallback':

Secondary index sub-tables WILL automatically be in Fallback, you have no choice.

For Hash Indexes and Join Indexes you choose. This is because they are separate objects and cannot be created within the 'create table' statement.

Cheers,

Dave
