How can I do a query in metadata of the ViewPoint

Hi, I need to see the %CPU from metadata of the ViewPoint, Because I need the list of processes with CPU USE between a time slot.

I need the query and know how to enter the base of the viewpoint.

Thank in advance.

Hi Fabian,

You can't write queries directly against the data displayed in VP.

You either have to:

  • display the relevant data, download it to Excel and 'query' that, or
  • run a query against the 'raw' data in the Teradata system (assuming these are Teradata queries that you're interested in).

The 'raw' data in Teradata will typically be in one of two places:

DBC.DBQLogTbl (you may need to use view DBC.QryLogV)

PDCRInfo.DBQLogTbl

Cheers,

Dave
