How can I load special character A^ ie A cap in teradata?

I have data in Oracle like this 'A^'. Actually ^ should go on top of 'A', i.e I have A cap in one of my columns in Oracle.

When I loaded to Teradata the row got rejected. So I have changed the characterset in teradata to Unicode and in Informatica I made the connection as UTF-8. Now its getting loaded but its appending some extra character to it.

Please suggest What shall I do to load such data in Teradata?

Do you mean 'Â'?

That's a valid characer in Teradata's LATIN character set, "0xC2, LATIN CAPITAL LETTER A WITH CIRCUMFLEX".

What extra character? In UNICODE this is U+00C2, should translate 1:1.
