How to create a View in Teradata with 1 base tables being in Teradata DB and another in an Oracle DB?

Hi,

I am researching if it is possible to create a view in teradata db with the 1 base table residing in Teradata db itslef and another from Oracle DB.

For Example,

Consider, Table A in TD db & Table B in Oracle db.

How do i create a VIEW in Teradata with data elements from both Table A (TD db) and Table B (Oracle db)?

Thanks...

Though theoritically one can make that happen from academics point of view but practically and keeping performance point of view
you can't.

yes, You can't create a view in TD which points to a table in different DB.
