I have a requirement where I need to search for a string value from a column, but I need to look the entire string not any particular occurrence. What I found that REGEXP_SUBSTR works like from 1st position and 1st occurrence or 1st position and 2nd occurrence. But I need all the occurrence upto end of the string from the 1st position and that string have multiple line feeds (enter character).
To be on the exact requirement I need to list all the objects that is used in a particular View. So I am looking into “DBC.Tables”. And I am trying to extract the object information from the column “RequestText” using REGEXP_SUBSTR. So to do that I need to look upto end of the string i.e. all occurrence.
