Installing and Enabling Query Logging in Teradata Express 13 VMware Version

Hi,

I need to install & enable query logging (DBC.QueryLog) for the Teradata Express 13 VMware Version?  I have seen several references to running multitool adn DIP but cannot find any executables/shell launch scripts for any tools in the Teradata directories.

Please advise?

Thanks and regards... Vince

Hi Vince,

you don't need to install query logging, you just have to switch it on using BEGIN QUERY LOGGING.

Check the Database Administration manual for details on DBQL including housekeeping tasks.

Also have a look at the SQL Data Definition Language manual for details of the BEGIN QUERY LOGGING and END QUERY LOGGING commands.
