Is it possible to create and use volatile table in the same procedure?

I am running a REPLACE PROCEDURE.
In the procedure I create a number of VOLATILE TABLES. Those tables are used in the same procedure else where. The syntax looks correct to me but I get an error saying : 'Object does not exist.' Hence the procedure is not getting replaced.
questions:
1. Is it possible to create volatile table and use it in the same procedure?
a. If yes, can any one help me to resolve the error?
b. And if answer is No, is there any workaround to do so?

As far as I can tell, the SP gets created with warnings ...

Can you post a sample SP which reproduces your issue ?

Thanks Joe,
SP gets created with warnings as you said. In my case there were a few other errors also along with these warnings while compiling. Now those resolved and SP is being replaced.
