MLOAD ISSUE

Hi All,

I have a requirement to upload (mload) data into teradata base. I was creating one example for the same as getting some problem

Here i have attached the complete script

==========Table script :=================

CREATE MULTISET TABLE db.customers ,NO FALLBACK ,
NO BEFORE JOURNAL,
NO AFTER JOURNAL,
CHECKSUM = DEFAULT,
DEFAULT MERGEBLOCKRATIO
(
ID INTEGER,
CUST_ID CHAR(6) CHARACTER SET LATIN CASESPECIFIC,
CUST_NAME CHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN CASESPECIFIC,
CUST_GROUP CHAR(30) CHARACTER SET LATIN CASESPECIFIC,
CUST_SEGMENT CHAR(10) CHARACTER SET LATIN CASESPECIFIC,
CUST_COUNTRY_ID CHAR(3) CHARACTER SET LATIN CASESPECIFIC)
PRIMARY INDEX ( ID );

===========mload script:===============

.LOGTABLE db.dwlogtable;
.LOGON IP/username,password;
DATABASE db;
.begin import mload tables db.customers;
.layout custlayout;
.field ID  1 INTEGER;
.field CUST_ID * varchar(6);
.field CUST_NAME * varchar(30);
.field CUST_GROUP * varchar(30);
.field CUST_SEGMENT * varchar(10);
.field CUST_COUNTRY_ID * varchar(3);

.dml label custdml;
insert into customers.*;
.import infile Y:\Anuj\TD\1.txt
format text
layout custlayout
apply custdml;

.end mload;
.logoff;

===========text file =============

ID,CUST_ID,CUST_NAME,CUST_GROUP,CUST_SEGMENT,CUST_COUNTRY_ID
1,r001,Anuj,abcd,Sale,US

=====Problem=====

UTY0832 : An unexpected multiload phase, data acquisition, was reported by the rdbms

Could anyone help me out in fixing above problem.

Thanks for your support in advance.

Regards,

Anuj Kumar

Re: MLOAD ISSUE

From Teradata Manual:

UTY0832 This Multiload <task type> task cannot proceed: an unexpected Multiload phase, <Mload
phase>, was reported by the DBC.
Explanation: The Multiload phase reported by the DBC did not agree with the phase recorded in the restart logtable.
Generated By: MLCLI
Notes: Either 1) an interrupted Mload job was rerun with a newly created logtable; or 2) a job is being run involving a
target table that was previously used in an Mload job that was never completed.
Remedy: Properly complete any previously interrupted Mload jobs before attempting to run new jobs involving the same
target tables or restart logtables.
