Maximum possible row length in the table is too large
we have a table with row size 64,224 bytes (derived from dbc.columns) and is populated.
Database version id 13.10.00.02.
Now when i am trying to create similar table with same definition or try creating table from existing one i am getting error like 'Maximum Possible row length in the table is too large'.
when i am changing size of one of the varchar column from 2000 to 1950 , the table is created.
If the table with same definition is existing in database, why i am not able to create similar table?
In case of any recovery process, if I have to drop and re-create that table i will not be able to do that, right?
Is this something to do with migration? or some previous versions of databases were allowing this particular maximum rowlength and now its not? or some new factors were added to calculating rowlength counting?
