No More Spool Space.... on which AMP?

Hi,

there is a view that is made from 6 views joined and so on... the result is the error No More Spool Space (Spool limit is 200 GB) and the Peak Spool is 30 GB for 800000 rows there are 42 AMP (4,8 GB per AMP) and so there is one AMP skewed.

is possible to know, trough SQLAssistant, which AMP went over the Spool limit?

Regards

Just out of curiosity.... why do you need to know which AMP?  Is it to determine null values?

Re: No More Spool Space.... on which AMP?

you can check the peakspool reached on an indivudual amp by using the following query.

SyntaxEditor Code Snippet

sel

max(peakspool)

from dbc.DiskSpace

where DatabaseName = user

basically table diskspace contains information on every vproc , so if you sel * from dbc.diskspace where databasename = user order by peakspool desc;  you will find out which amp the query is spooling out on.

i hope this helps
