I am wandering what is the best practice in teradate.. small number of tables or big number will be better?
We are a company in the first face of implimantation and we are not sure from the above.
it is not the number of tables that need to be considered but the design of the tables and the normalization that is taken into consideration for the data model based as a best practice.
We build a warehouse for business purpose.
I suggest you go through this document, in brief.It is brief and to the point. What do you want , dimensional or 3 NF?
