Oracle timestamp (DD-MM-YY HH.MI.SS) to terdata format (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MI:SS)
I am new to teradata and working on migration of data from oracle to teradata.
Date in Oracle is in "DD-MM-YY HH.MI.SS" and want to migrate to teradata. Year in TD gets converted to 4 digits depending on dbscontrol parameter. The Oracle table contain dates both prior to 2000 and beyond 2000. dbscontrol parameter is set to 100. So when i convert the timestamp in oracle to TD, automatically "20" is added before YY and i get date in TD as "20YY-MM-DD HH:MI:SS". To get dates prior to 2000 in the right format like "01-06-72 12.00.00" instead of converting to "2072-06-01 12.00.00"
How can address this issue if i want the date in TD in the same format as that of oracle?
