Hi all, I'm trying to use the temporal table support via an ODBC application. Temporal tables allow temporal updates, for example SEQUENCED VALIDTIME PERIOD(TIMESTAMP '2012-03-05 12:00:00.00', UNTIL_CHANGED) UPDATE <table name> ... This works, but I don't want to use literals for the period expression. Instead I want to use a place holder ( parameter ), i.e. something like SEQUENCED VALIDTIME ? UPDATE <table name> I tried several variations, but unfortunately all failed. Interestingly using place holders works for insert statements, where the PERIOD column is part of the insert column list. I'm using ODBC 13.10 which, according to the documentation, supports the PERIOD datatype. Does anyone know the way to use place holders in the period expression for update and delete statements ? Thanks, Thomas
