Pseudo Table Locking

The pseudo table mechanism is a way to serially queue all table level locks through the use

of an internal pseudo tabe.In this table the database locks the row hash of

the table's table ID.

How does the database lock the row hash of  table ID?Is there any field which is set to 1 or 0

to indicate that the tableID is locked?

Re: Pseudo Table Locking

No.  There is a lock manager component on each AMP that maintains information about locked objects and active lock requests.  This information may be displayed using the LOKDISP utility.
