Revoke User

I have a script that revokes logon on firecall users after X days.  It will then drop the user 14 days after that.  I am looking for the table that contains the flag/field that shows the user was revoked.  I want to use this as a check to do a compare.

Re: Revoke User

Even I have the same question. Where to check whether a user is revoked or not? Any views or tables are there? Please help.

Re: Revoke User

Hi wambli, DBC.LogonRules view has a column named LogonStatus which contains the flag whether user is granted (G) or revoked (R) logon access.

This view uses information from real table DBC.LogonRuleTbl.

Re: Revoke User

You typically don't have LogonRules for every user; there are generic / "wild card" rules as well. The search order is:

  • Session UserName and LogicalHostID both match a rule
  • Session UserName matches a rule with LogicalHostID = 1024 (ON ALL)
  • Session LogicalHostID matches a rule with Username = Default (AS DEFAULT)
  • Else a rule with LogicalHostID=1024 and Username = Default (if any)
