SQL Error on 'Create Table' in Terdata SQL Assistant

why I am getting a syntax error?

create TABLE  ddwp_v.sponsoredm, CHECK = DEFAULT

(account VARCHAR(12)

 Unique Primary INDEX(account);

insert into ddwp_v.sponsoredm

VALUES(?);

Simply read the error message:

CREATE TABLE Failed.  [3707] Syntax error, expected something like a 'LOG' keyword or a 'QUEUE' keyword between ',' and the 'CHECK' keyword.

It's CHECKSUM instead of CHECK (and you simply remove it, too).

If you use a .Net connection SQLA will indicate the position of the error with a red line, too.
