SQL: Find specifc char in String

Hi
I hope, that's the right category to post SQL-questions...

How can I search for a specific character (#10 and #13) within a string field ? As far I know, the Position-Functions demands a string rather than an "invisible" control character.

Background: I need to find out what character is used for line feeds in long TRM-Strings.

thanks
Roger

Sorry...try this:

where position(x'1013' in colname) > 0

Use "x" in front of the literal to use hex values.
