SQL SERVER to TERADATA -- DATA MOVE

Hello There !!

I have a 5 GB of sql server databases extract (ddl and insert stamtements).. wondering any nice and standard way to move them all in a databases/schema in teradata.

Challange faced

1. Big "sqlserverDB.sql" struggled to open with a editor -- finally used EmEditor and UNIX to check the content and number of tables inside

2. tried to do a BTEQ by taking chunk of insert statement and convert them to a pipe delimited file and insert one by one by running - its tedious

3. Index statements are different in sql server and teradata and have to modefy them

4.  Thre are around 70 tables in that bid 5 GB file and doing them one by one seems a bad idea

Any pointers will help ------>>>>

Yes, there is no easy way to convert syntax from SQL Server to Teradata without a tool.  Teradata consultants do have access to such a tool.  You should contact your local Teradata rep about that.
