Same Query Is Consuming More CPU on Sunday Run and Consumes less CPU on Other days :Reasons for this

I have a query which consumes more cpu on sunday runs whereas when i run the query it consumes less cpu.the differneces are very large.when it consumes more cpu it takes 30K AMP CPU & when it consumes less cpu then it consumes 30-50Seconds only.I checked all the stats of the table but didn;t have any luck.can anyone suggest what can be the possible reasons for the same.the queries ran under reporting tool.

Compare Explains for different runs (from DBQL?).

When are stats on that table collected?

The Explains are different and i checked the Stats .all are in place.

the stats are collected once the data gets loaded into the participating tables.

I am looking for all the possible causes for this kind of behaviour of the query.
