I am running TPT Update via Informatica tool.
Error table is been created with error code 9902 - Activity count greater than one for Stream Operator update or delete
I could not find any details about this error code so far. Is there a place where we have ALL error code with description and its cause in Teradata website somewhere ?
My scenario -
I am using 3 instances of single table with TPT Update as operator. It may concurrently hit the database which is why i am getting the errror as it is descripting i think but not sure what to do? Is that limitation so i should work around or if there is a simple setting?
Table is inserted in 2 instance & updated in 1 instance via View is defined with LOCKING ROW FOR ACCESS
Any assistance is much appreciated. Thank You!
Don't know where this is documented in detail, but these "warning" rows result from (possibly default) MARK EXTRA ROWS option for STREAM operator.
If updating multiple rows for a single input value is expected / acceptable, you can eliminate the logging via IGNORE EXTRA ROWS option for the DML Group (though I'm not 100% sure how to set that in Informatica).
