A query was aborted but we are not able to find that this query is aborted by Administrator or operation staff .
Is there any way to find that who aborted this query. ? Administrator or operation staff ?
We get data like "The transaction was aborted by the user" only. Is there any way to find the username who has aborted it.? admin or operation staff
Error 3110 "The transaction was aborted by the user" means the end-user or the client application aborted the transaction, not an administrator.
This can occur in a variety of ways, depending on the client product or client application.
The Teradata JDBC Driver FAQ includes more details about this topic.
Can we get information of the user who has aborted it?
Lets say, Sysdba abort a query then may i get information about sysdba related to the aborting this query. Any information like clientid etc.
Error 3110 means that the user aborted their own query, that they were running. It does not mean that a user aborted some other user's query.
DBQL records the username of the user who executed the query. That is also the username of the user who aborted the query when a Error 3110 is reported.
If Sysdba abort a user query then can we get information of sysdba regarding this query abortion with different error code in DBQL. ?
On Sandeep's question:
It is my curiosity if we can see in viewpoint or if there is a session id, connected with Linux/unix process id.....
if you are talking about rewind option to go back and check, then there is nothing such information except it state i.e. abort.
