I downloaded the Teradata Database Express 16.00.04 sandbox from http://downloads.teradata.com/download/database/teradata-express-for-vmware-player and I was be able to import it into my VM Host (ESXi 6.x). However, I tried to start the machine up, it stucks at boot mode at Detected 2299.998 MHz processor state. It never pass through this state. I have tested with the other version such as Teradata Database Express 14 and 15 on the same VM Host, they are working fine. I attached the picture at stuck state. Please help if you know what is going on. Thanks.
I just downloaded the TD Express 16.0 VM version and started it with VM Workstations.
No issues. So in general the image seems to be OK.
Did you specify the "I moved the image" option?
I used VMWare vCenter Converter Standalone Client to convert the .vmx file to our vCenter. So there is no option "I moved the image".
i am not a Teradata employee but my guess is that you won't get any help in case you convert the VM image. Did you try to run it with the VMWare player?
