%VSTR,%FSTR,etc

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what does %VSTR, %FSTR, etc means in the error messages.

Where can I find the meaning of such abbreviations ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: %VSTR,%FSTR,etc

%VSTR,%FSTR just hold the names of the objects . While returning message to user the object names appear in the place of %VSTR etc.

Re: %VSTR,%FSTR,etc

How do the object names appear in place of VSTR?

CAn anybody explain which tables I will have to join

I get error message saying

"Process failed with SQL State : 42J15 and error message:%FSTR does not have %VSTR access to %DBID.%TVMID.%FLDID."

I want the object names displayed here.

Re: %VSTR,%FSTR,etc

There is no reason why the substitution of the % directives to the object names should not occur. Is it only happening with this specific error from a stored procedure? Contact support for further assistance.
