Viewpoint data collector - Lock Info error

I am trying to setup Viewpoint to capture locks. However, I get the following error as a ! within a red triangle.

Unable to get lock information from dumplocklog utility! [Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC 13.10.00.18] [Error 3190] [SQLState 42000] Access to utility dumplocklogb denied.

I still get this error after I have granted access to the Viewpoint user as follows (according to the Viewpoint Users guide).

replace macro console.dumplocklogb as (;);

grant exec on console.dumplocklogb to viewpoint;

Re: Viewpoint data collector - Lock Info error

I am now getting this message:

Unable to get lock information from dumplocklog utility! *** Error - Logger was not activated. Q No rows have been inserted to table 'VIEWPOINT'.'LOCKLOGGERTABLE20121008161503'. *** DumpLockLogb is terminated ***

I see in the documentation - it says "

For the Lock Info collector to run, the LockLogger flag in DBSControl on the Teradata system must be set

to TRUE."

How do I do this?

Re: Viewpoint data collector - Lock Info error

Using Viewpoint, I set the LockLogger to TRUE but after a few minutes it is automatically set back to FALSE. When it was TRUE I did a tpareset but when I check the status it is set back to FALSE. Any Idea why?

Re: Viewpoint data collector - Lock Info error

Use DBSControl, turn on "LockLogger":

    Release 13.10.05.03 Version 13.10.05.04

    DBSControl Utility (Dec 99)

The current DBS Control GDO has been read.

Enter a command, HELP, or QUIT:

The SystemFE field has been modified from FALSE to TRUE.

WARNING: Running DBSControl in SystemFE mode may result in

         inconsistent system behavior!

Are you sure you want to do this (Y/N)?

Enter a command, HELP, or QUIT:

DBS Control Record - General Fields:

     1. Version                        = 8

     2. SysInit                        = TRUE        (2009-12-30 10:21)

     8. SessionMode                    = 0           (Teradata mode)
