What happens to the running transactions when a Node fails?

Hi All,

There is a system restart following a node failure. So what happens to the transactions currently running?

How is it being handled? Are they rolled back?

Please help.

Thanks,

Sankalp

Re: What happens to the running transactions when a Node fails?

Hi Sankalpk,

Yes, executing transactions are rolled back.

Spool files are deleted.

After transaction rollback has completed locks are released.

Cheers,

Dave
