analog sys.foreign_keys.is_not_trusted

Database
N/A

analog sys.foreign_keys.is_not_trusted

Let's compare 2 sql commands:

ALTER TABLE zombie.TEST22

    ADD CONSTRAINT COLL1_FK FOREIGN KEY (COLL1)

  REFERENCES  with check option zombie.TEST21   (COLL1)

;

ALTER TABLE zombie.TEST22

    ADD CONSTRAINT COLL1_FK FOREIGN KEY (COLL1)

  REFERENCES  with no check option zombie.TEST21   (COLL1)

;

They changed 2 tables:

dbc.Referensed

dbc.ConstraintNames

Question. What column-table response for the "no"  in "with no check option"

Mcrosoft SQL server has the column "sys.foreign_keys.is_not_trusted". What is the analog in Teradata?

Hi Sergey,

unfortunately there's no way to get the FK type from the data dictionary (afaik).

This info is only stored in the table header, the data dictionary will just show "there's a FK", nothing else but SHOW TABLE can provide details on [[NO] CHECK OPTION].
