how do i get the top of the most frecuently accesed or used tables

Good evening

Im new a Teradata Database, and i need your help:

Id like to know the 20 top most accesed or used tables for a specified database. Is there any way to know by means of  any sql teradata command or something related ?

Hello Alexcol,

Consider two options related to this:

1) "accesscount" column in DBC.tables view  (has to be turned on by the corresponding DBSControl setting)

2) DBQL Objects table/view (has to be turned on for those users who access the database)

Re: how do i get the top of the most frecuently accesed or used tables

OK, Thanks for yor help, and i run the query

select top 10 * from DBC.Tables

order by 19 desc

The 19 number is the positional column for accesscount column

But as you mention before the accesscount column as may others columns  there is no data in these columns, just the data is replace by a (?)

1. and for the first answer i  need to as: how can i  turned on by the corresponding DBSControl setting ? and  is there iny impact id i set up the configuration ?

well, what i really want to know is to find out the most accesed  tables and  views with their correspondiente relationships (Entity - Ralationship) in order to practice embedded  inner/outer joins ?

Id appreciate your help
