Please contact your Teradata support representative. A system crash is not usually a problem that can be solved by the user.

Re: how to solve DBS CRASHED OR SESSIONS RESET problem

Is this a demo version? The message is printed by BTEQ when it can’t communicated with the database. It means that the database is not running. Since you say you just installed it, did you start it? Did it ever run before? Rebooting Linux is not going to start the database. Try this command if you never started it before.

/etc/init.d/tpa start

If this is not a demo version you should contact your support representative.
