is enabling object level logging will affect system performance?

Hi All,

 

I want to track object used by users so I am going to enable object level logging  before that I want to make sure I wont affect system performance. Can anyone please let me know enabling object level logging will affect system performance.?

I don't think there should be any significant performance impact by enabling Object Use Count. By default it flushes data in DBC tables with interaval of 10 minutes.

## The impact is basically negligible (less than 1%),Use this option(with objects) selectively.
Information of Logging Behaviour for "WITH OBJECTS" :

This option logs database, table, column, and index information in DBQLObjTbl.
This option inserts:
• A default row in DBQLogTbl
• One row per target object per query in DBQLObjTbl
Use this option selectively. Object data is useful for analyzing queries that make heavy use of join indexes and indexed access, but it can generate many rows. This option can be used with SUMMARY or THRESHOLD.
