What do you mean by appending "with ur" in a query?

Which query?

I think you might have mixed up your databases. I know DB2 has WITH UR optional clause, which is used for requesting Uncommitted Read isolation at statement level. The equivalent for Teradata would be prefixing statement with locking modifier such as LOCKING ROW FOR ACCESS.

Thats Right. Its a DB2 option. Would you be able to explain it a little bit more?

Thanks

Don't you think there's a much higher probability to get more details about DB2-specific syntax in a DB2-forum or the DB2 manuls?
