Access Teradata Vmware Server from Windows 7 64 bit client

Hi,

I have downloaded Teradata Version 14 vmware and running it from Vmware player(64 bit).I would like to know if I can configure Teradata DNS in my windows 7 64 bit machine

I have installeted TTU version 15 locally.

What are the configuartion changes that need to be made in VMware settings and my windows 7 laptop to connect and start accessing the DB server using SQLAssistant

I already verified that teradata server is up and running inside the vmware player.

Thanks

By default, the Virtual Machine's network adapter connection setting is "NAT", so you can access it via the name "localhost" (or IPv4 address 127.0.0.1 / IPv6 ::1).
