Maximum columns allowed in a Teradata view

Can someone tell me how many maximum columns are allowed in a view in Teradata. I know that for a Teradata table, 2048 columns are maximum number allowed. Is it the same for a view also. I have a required to hold 7000+ columns in a view. Is it possible? Please suggest.

Limits are documented in AppB of the Database Design Manual.

2048 is the current limit for # of columns in both tables and views.
