Teradata Functions

Is there any function called NULLIFSPACES invoked in Teradata 13 version? If yes or it present before please explain how it works,syntax,uses etc..

There is an old function NULLIFZERO(col), which is the same as a NULLIF(col, 0).

NULLIFSPACES doesn't exists, but this should be NULLIF(col, '')

Thnx Dieter for explaining...

in the format function why we always use this format --

SELECT CAST ((545458874489 (FORMAT '99-999-999-9999')) AS CHAR (15)) AS Format_Cast_PhoneNum

and not this --

SELECT CAST ((545458874489 (FORMAT '11-111-111-1111')) AS CHAR (15)) AS Format_Cast_PhoneNum

9 is the formatting character representing a numerical digit - stolen from COBOL oh so long ago.

i have a scenario like


col1  col2  col3........col37is like(sam,xyz,abc,cdef,xxxxx)..........col50............col247


here i need to use delimeter   ', ' but  if i taking that it is dividing the 37th column into different columns but i need that entire column as one not diff  can please help me how to do this problem

The column name itself has the delimiter as  ','  not data
