copy Stored Procedures from one dbase to another and recompile

hello TD members,

I need your assistance... I need to find a method of extracting all the USP's from one dbase to another and recompile..

we have roughly 300+ USP's and I do not want to "show procedure" and copy to new dbase and re-compile.

I could use BTEQ to extrcat all the scripts and recreate them on the new dbase, but I need a better method..

perhaps there are some system tables we can extract the info ???  not sure what to do.. pls HELP

BTEQ is my plan B.. I need to move and compile (everything) by end of next week

Vince

Vince:

ARC (arcmain) is the basic tool for backups in Teradata. It used to be included in the Teradata Tools and Utilities, but from version 14 (?) it is not. I guess you gan get it easily enough (it is included in the Teradata Express for VMware versions).

Cheers.
