I have noticed that during teradata connector configuration, the teradata.properties file required a username and password:
connector.name=teradata data-exchange.server.port=21338 data-exchange.coordinator.host-and-port=**bleep**.xx.x.xx:21338 teradata.connection.url=jdbc:teradata://**bleep**.xx.x.xx teradata.foreign-server-name=p2t teradata.connection.user=someuser teradata.connection.password=********* teradata.debug-enabled=true
Does that means that all queries will be executed under this user? Is there a way to use kerberos integration with active directory when connecting to TD?
Yes, for QG 1.x, all queries are executed with the user you specify for the connection. Similarly, there's no impersonation for Kerberos; one superuser is used to connect to Teradata. QG 2.0 may have support for that, check the docs for that product.
