Does someone already find a way to create an AppV 5.1 package from Teradata Studio 16.10
When creating and starting the Teradata Studio package I receive the following message:
>>> the teradatastudio executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library <<<
Any help appreciated to fix this. I already tried using PVAD.
Problem is in the shortcut (App-V). If you start the executable from C:\Programdata\App-V\<guid>\<guid>\..... directly it will work.
Unfortunately this solution will only work for the 32bit version of Studio. I haven't solved this for the 64bit yet.
OK, It looks like the 64 bit installer can't handle the long default installation path. Change installation path during setup to: C:\Program Files\ The Installer will then add Teradata Studio nt-x86664 by itself (Installdir will be: C:\Program Files\Teradata Studio nt-x86664). Now the App-V Sequence will work just fine.
