Moving to Teradata cloud - Need suggestion

Currently we are using Teradata on-premise - We are exporting large number of tables from Tables to Files using TPT and files are getting extracted in Datastage (ETL) server.

My client planning to move to Teradata cloud and i need to know whether the extracted files can directly load into S3 instead of datastage server and need suggestion on this.

Hello ilahi,

If you have DSC configured on you on-premise Teradata system, then you can configure S3 storage as target for archive jobs. From the S3 storage, you can perform DSC restore onto your could Teradata system.

Hi Abhijeet,

Thanks for the responce.

So for Teradata cloud also we need to configure DSC and then we can extract our files from Teradata and store it in S3 ( if we mentioned as target in the TPT job ).

Do we have any method to configure DSC in TD cloud environment ?
